Connect Your Wallet

To use dApps on AirDAO’s ecosystem, users simply need to connect their wallets and deposit funds. To do this, first navigate over to the “Connect Wallet” button at the top right corner of the landing page for AirDAO.io.

This will ask you to connect a Metamask or Wallet Connect compatible wallet. Select the wallet you want to use and create a wallet or input your log-in details.

1. Choose Your Wallet:

To manage your assets on AirDAO, start by selecting a Metamask or WalletConnect compatible wallet. There are several types to choose from:

• Hardware Wallets: Physical devices like Ledger.

• Mobile Wallet Apps: Applications like Binance or MetaMask.

• Browser Extensions: Wallets like MetaMask

Below is a list of WalletConnect compatible wallets:

• MetaMask

• Trust Wallet

• Binance DEX

• Uniswap

• Rainbow

• Etherscan

• OpenSea

2. Generate Your Private Keys:

When setting up your wallet, it will generate a private key for you. This key is typically presented as a seed phrase, a series of 12 or 24 words.

• Secure Your Seed Phrase: Write down your seed phrase and store it in a safe place. Avoid digital storage to prevent hacking. Consider using a physical backup like a metal seed phrase storage device for added security. This phrase is the only way to recover your funds if you lose access to your wallet. If anyone obtains your seed phrase, they can access your funds.

3. Connect Wallet to AirDAO:

Now that you have completed the setup on your wallet, you can connect it to AirDAO. When successfully connected, your interface will display your wallet address and allow you to interact with the various features of the AirDAO ecosystem. It should look like the image below:
