$KOS Token
The logic of the crypto-economic system can be summarized as follows: Every user that engages with Kosmos - the Bond marketplace, is required to pay a fee for each bond they buy or sell.
The platform rewards user participation in $AMB, the main token used to transact on the AirDAO ecosystem. This section explains the intricate crypto economics of Kosmos, outlining the mechanisms that drive the platform's sustainability, incentivize user engagement, and promote a fair distribution of rewards.
The $KOS token, is used for 4 primary purposes:
To subsidize user fees,
To qualify for engagement rewards in $AMB
To stake for earning cyclical rewards in $AMB, and
To govern and control the treasury of Kosmos, as it yields fees from other users over time.
For use (1) and (2) there are thresholds, where a higher stake means less fees paid, as well as larger rewards.
For (2) Your cyclical rewards are calculated on a rolling basis from (1) Your stake in $KOS and (2) The amount of trades you have completed on the platform in both frequency and volume. At inception, the treasury will burn 20% of all fees in AMB and return 80% back to $KOS holders.
Finally, there is a finite supply of $KOS, starting at a mere 15mm and rising up to a total of only 150mm. The token will not be launching until after the marketplace is live with traction and initial bonds on it. As more users onboard, more fees are taken, a larger treasury is built, and more of a benefit $KOS token offers.
